Olivier Sichel, Inspector General of Finance, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Caisse des Dépôts.
A graduate of ESSEC and Sciences Po, and an alumnus of ENA, he joined the Inspectorate General of Finance.
He held various positions at France Télécom, Alapage.com, Wanadoo, Orange and Sofinnova. In 2012, he became Chairman and CEO of LeGuide, and in 2015 created the Digital New Deal Foundation.
He joined Caisse des Dépôts in 2018 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, before becoming Deputy Chief Executive Officer. In December 2024, he was appointed interim CEO of Caisse des Dépôts following the appointment of Eric Lombard to the government.
