Appointment of Thomas Revial
Thomas Revial, Inspector General of Finance, has been appointed Head of the Multilateral Affairs and Development Department at the French Treasury.
A graduate of École Polytechnique, École nationale des ponts et chaussées and ENA, he began his career at the Inspection générale des finances.
In 2010, he joined the French Treasury as deputy head of the Network Economy office. He then became head of the Housing Financing and Public Interest Activities office, followed by the Business Financing and Development office.
Still with the French Treasury, he was appointed Secretary General of CIRI in 2013 and Deputy Director of European Affairs in 2016. From 2018 to 2021, he was Deputy Chief of Staff at the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty. In 2021, he joins the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as Chief of Staff to the President.
